BRIDGE "BAJER" RIJEKA - ZAGREB HIGHWAY

- Width of the bridge: 12.05 m
- Structure: prefabricated box structure built using the incremental launching method
- Bridge spans: 42.63 m + 8 x 50.16 m + 42.63 m
- For the first time in Croatia a bridge was build by incremental launching of the prestressed structure without auxiliary columns
- A rigid structure was selected, that is, a 4 m high and 5.1 m wide box
- A deck slab is 0.25 m thick, with reinforcements (vutas) next to ridges
- Rectangular hollow bridge piers, 6.6 m x 3.1 m, with 0.3 m thick walls
- Bridge piers in the lake are founded on 6 drilled piles of 1.5 m diameter
