The feature of NATM is its application in different geological conditions, its high efficiency due to determination of corresponding supporting measures, fast adapting to the changes in cross-section of the excavation and relatively low investment cost. The most common method of excavation is the drilling and shot firing method and machine excavation in soft rocks with tunnel excavators. Viadukt specializes in underground and surface shot firing in urban areas at the highest technological level, owing to the highly skilled engineering team and experienced and highly trained employees.
The use of modern mechanization and construction materials enables the performance of tunnel and underground structures in the most complex geological and terrain conditions. At tunnel boring the most modern geodetic equipment is used for precision enhancement and excavation cost minimization.
