• Total length of the tunnel: 835 m
• Cross-section of the excavation: 75 - 85 m²
• Method of excavation: NATM, drilling + shot firing
• Excavation category according to RMR classification: II - V
• Tunnel was excavated in dolomite, limestone and clay sediments. On the western portal excavation was performed in extremely unfavorable rocks and required enhanced supporting. Several larger and smaller caverns were discovered.
