  • Limited excavation zone due to the existing left tube open for traffic (1 - 2.5 m), constant monitoring of seismic activity in the existing tube.
  • Tunnel was excavated mostly in hard rock; two large caverns were discovered during the excavation, one of which required the construction of a small „BRIDGE" inside the tunnel.
