  • Total length of the tunnel: 257
  • Cross-section of the excavation: 75 - 85 m2
  • Method of excavation: NATM, drilling + shot firing
  • Excavation category according to RMR classification: II - V
  • Tunnel was excavated in a dolomite and limestone rock and shale from the Paleozoic on carbonate sediments. Initial length of the tunnel of 325 m was shortened due to the landslide on the western portal in the zone of contact between Paleozoic and carbonate.
